Today i carried out a restyle on my Mugo Pine.
This one was discussed earlier, and the I.B.C. views were to make the tree more compact.
I am happy with the results but i think the tree will need a new pot.
Have you any ideas ?.

Nice job Peter.
Does the branch go below the pot?

Chris, the branch dips below the rim of the pot.
Do you have any suggestions for a pot ?.

Hi Peter,

I think it might look good on a slab type pot, if you bring it to the Exmouth show we could have a better look

I'm up to the big smoke that week end for my son's wedding.
Are you going to Swindon. I may be able to come up for the show.

A slab type pot would look nice. So would an incense burner type of pot (Chinese). I could also see this tree planted in a rock which has a very obvious cave (for the dragon?). This tree also reminds me of smoke (incense) floating around in a very soft breeze. The trunk also looks like calligraphy. Simply beautiful!

Hi Peter, I like this tree who display a dramatical story. Very nice tree with good movement of tronc and branches.
Can you post the link of the old discussion please?

For the pot I can suggest you this one:
