Not much for color, but I really like your tree.

"Persimmon with seven fruits" also has a nice ring to it too (similar to three bears and a house guest for a picture of four bears) - seriously, I like it all.

Thanks. The leaves were on the dull brownish hue so I wasn't interested to take a pic. I like this tree more for its fruits. Next year I hope more flowers will make it to maturity so it will give the tree more "color" Wink .

ebby - very fortuitous placement of the fruit, artistically and photographically speaking...

especially if you purposely plucked a few to create the effect, and the number. Wink

Kevin, thanks. I tried. I'm glad you liked it. You're absolutely correct- the fruits were there by quirk of fate flutter eyelashes . However, the pairing with the painting was less providential. It has the brightest lights in the house so I placed the tree close to it for a better visual Smile .

Today the last fall images of the big maple. Now the foliage will go and then winter images. BTW: I do all photography and image processing myself.

Beautiful color, and trees everyone!

This trident maple put on a great show this year.

There's still some work to be done on the crown. The tree was shortened this past spring, so the apex is back under construction.
