Re: Show us your bench(s)
12 year update on my benches, fwiw.
It became necessary to replace about 25% of the frame and all the planks due to rotting. I decided to go with a composite material this time instead of decking wood. Remarkably this was cheaper than the equivalent wood.
Due to the difference in structural rigidity once the planks were removed I had to add cross-beam support when I realised the benches were now leaning. The old planks were screwed directly into the frame but these new composite planks are loosely attached using plastic clips.
I also built some "holding pens" instead of growing beds...see the last photo.

Re: Show us your bench(s)
Nice. I like both the bench setup and the holding pen. I made custom flats to hold 24 4" square pots or the 4x6" or 6x8" boxes I make for growing on small material.

Re: Show us your bench(s)
I don't really have any benches apart from a few garden/camping tables and a lean to table/bench type thing that houses smaller Cotoneaster and Hawthornes!
The ground is mostly my benches, The ground around the edge of the back garden!
This table collapsed after rotting but I was very lucky to find another exact same type of table to replace it for free!!
I had two tables in this pic, Not that you would know!
Just thought, I have benches in the greenhouse where I over witer my Acers!
