I was enjoying this thread and wanted to throw a few out there that I have photographed over the years. The first is a tree down the street from my house that, every time I drive by it, I think "man that is a perfect tree". I can't think f what it is even though I made a note of it at some point.


These are some trees I shot in an ice storm last year some time:

Out for a walk in subzero Snowdonia on Monday, I spotted this lonely Oak in the lee of a Roche Moutonne.

Nature is perfect.

Here is a spruce that grows near my home.

Found on the way to the ski lift in Bavaria, Germany.
European oak, Quercus robur and linden, Tilia platiphyllos.
