It seems that it is in need for a little bleu pill

I can see this topic straying into very dangerous territory, ripe as it is for lots of Innuendo.
Ah, but Innuendo is not a little blue pill but an Italian suppository.

Re: another inspirational tree
Chappy, I know the tree well (just opposite the Fish Man Pet Store) Actually, that used to be one of my favorite inspirational trees.
But that was back when the stump wasn't a stump. That part of the tree had benn damaged and driven into the ground. Whether by storm or other reason, the fascinating part of the tree was the part sticking into the ground that had rooted where it hit and formed a second part to the tree.
When the owner decided to cut it off and remove the newer section of the tree it was like seperating Siamese Twins. Problem is, they saved the ugly one and killed the one with the most character!

Drove past it last night, traffic was too busy to allow a closeup look.
If it is a Pinus, it would be Pinus deadimus! Cuz right now it's nekked!
I "believe" it is deciduous. Buth my memory is fading with age and I can't remember for sure.
