some opinions and sugestions from a starter

i´m a beginer in this art and the few i know is from readind and searching in the internet(alot from you guys) because where i live (Azores - Portugal) there´s not any bonsai club or so.

if you can give me some sugestions or virtuals i´l be very happy.


this is a elm from a supermarket (6euros) Erin Pot




these are two ficus one benjamina and one microcarpa from nursery






a juniper also from a nursery 2euros




this is another Lantana sp. recently collected

I would suggest that you try mediterranean species, olea, ficus carica, your impressive quercus suber most of all...
Keep on reading and collecting info. IBC is a great resource!
