shohin Pemphis. UPDATE sep 2012
Hello all .
I got this tiny Pemphis on Dec 2011 from my friend who live on seaside of Thailand. with it's small taper and barkages... I'm very happy!
so... I'm try to find it's style that posible. I'm not have working on this kind of plants before, so I try to design in easy way that posible to do.
today I have start to first styleing by wiring and remove some unnessery branchs (shoots) as less as I can...
,because my country is still cool and I'm not sure to remove much branch.

Very nice drawing Pongsatorn.
With the small tree you have, it would take a shorter period of time to create your vision, 2 to 3 years maybe. Just an unsolicited advice, if this is your first Phempis acidula, Just let the selected branches grow long...very long, to build thickness, Even if you are on the stage of wiring the major branches/designing still keep the branches long until you achieved the desired thickness. Once you cut it back it would take much longer time to make it thicker.
The specie is also hungry for fertilizer...hehehe.
Good luck!
regards,
jun

Pongsatorn.k,
if I follow the dramatics of your drawing, then you need to slant your tree backwards a little more.
Will be looking to see just how you handle the foliage.
Nicely done so far.
Thanks for showing.
