I see doha-ishi
looks nice to me, but I'm no expert,
what type of material is it,
choose best front to conceal damaged end,
play with it in a sand box to help you find best view...

Hi Dick
It is a sheltestone.....The shape of the stone, is from above very nice, and wanted for suiseki, clear oblong, and wide in one end.
Round, for a flat stone is not very wanted, unless it is exeptionel....
From the side is your stone also very nice, you just need a wellfitted daiza.
As soon as you have started to carve your own daizas, will you find many more stones, than you used too, as you dont need, a compleetly flat buttom anymore, as a good daiza can solve theese problems.
I have found more good stones like yours..broken....and it is better to leave it back in the nature, as it will never become a good suiseki, and just take up space....now you found this, you know you will find others, who is not broken, just go for it.
Kind regards Yvonne
