Aspen tree from Kola peninsula
Hi, everybody!
In my part of the world aspen tree is notoriously difficult to survive after transfer from nature. I was lucky to have this aspen originally taken from Kola peninsula in 2009 surviving the change of climate. Aspens from the North are known to have shorter vegitation period so while the photo was taken just a couple of weeks ago by now it is already bare.
Cheers,
Andrei
P.S. To give you a better idea of its size, this is the tree with my 5 month old son....
