I've never tried this style, but absolutely love the 'minimalist' effectiveness of it. I think your wee tree looks great!

Interesting approach! Good way to deal with a long, thinnish trunk. I'll have to keep that in mind.

My dear friend, this is so inspiring to see what you ahve create it with such a dificult species to find with trunk movement. This weekend I worked my first Jabi at Jupiter Bonsai for Allen Carver. Hopefully the one I worked comes out as beautiful as yours. Stay Inpired my friend.
