Welcome Michael!
Beautiful Juniper, and I'm jealous of the Stewartia.

Welcome Michael. As is usually the case, I'm going to be awkward and say that I prefer the Juniper. I look forward to seeing more of your work here soon.

Hello Everyone,
thank you so much for this friendly welcome. I will be very honored to share some of my work with you. Right now I am working on a rather interesting Project:
What happens when professional filmmakers do a short clip about bonsai? People who normally work on a totally different field and can approach bonsai with an unbiased eye. People, who put just as much effort into their work as we do and claim their videos to be an art as much as we do with bonsai?
Please check out their work on youtube:
Format67:
NSX Video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53c6o_cNPEo
Interview - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTrINhgTHqU
I think the video will be very interesting, don't you?
regards Michael

OMG. Yes, nice work, Michael, welcome to IBC. But the videos...awesome work!! The Nordschleife!! I am extremely picky when it comes to good film. And I know good film when I see it.
I can see bonsai as a successful medium indeed: Honest and powerful, simple, silent beauty crying out loud. Can't wait to see the result!
Best,
dorothy

Re: Work from Heidelberg
Hello Forum,
thank you so much for your kind words. I feel very honored – thank you.
The little clip is almost finished now and is completely different than I thought – very dynamic and modern – but I like it nontheless. The total length of the clip will only be around the two minute mark and I hope I can upload it this weekend.
Showing only trees would make the 2 minutes rather long – since the trees don’t move So there will be quite a lot of scene with me in my area, Heidelberg & Mannheim. Hopefully this will make the 2 minutes a little bit more entertaining.
Best wishes
Michael

Cool video.
I did get a chuckle when it said "to see close your eyes." Not while driving I hope.
