After pruning it's time for wiring.
The main wiring it was made by my Oyakata, Nobouchi Urushibata.
The video:
I did the rest of the wiring.
In the video, I use a white background so that he could better see the process
Having a nice time.
Nobouchi Urushibata cheking my work

Hi Jose.
Thanks so much for sharing! Who made the big cream pot? It looks like Yamafusa, but I've never seen him do anything so big. Is it Seizan/Reihou?

The story of Momiji Big Part 4: Video repottting.
First step remove soil and cut roots.
When we finish removing the soil and prune roots we use damp towels while we finish preparing the soil .

Good! Nice pot, but that cream color is terrible with that white trunk. I'm hoping for blue if it's glazed, can't wait to see!

The story of Momiji Big Part 5: Video repottting
We prepare the pot.
But however much I try the Oyakata to go into the pot, this is definitively too small .
So no choice but to re-plant it in the box where it was .
Because this nebari don´t fit easily into a pot.
Just need watering

Hi Jose,
Thank you so much for keeping us updated on the progress of this tree. Will you be able to get pictures of the new pot. And the tree potted in its new pot? I'm curious to see what was use; glazed versus unglazed, oval versus rectangle, etc.
Thank you,
Todd

After transplant the tree broke out with great vigor .
It was defoliated.
The tree was bought by Jean-Paul Polmans of Belgium
These photos were taken by Marcio Meruje (Portugal)
From here take the opportunity to thank you for giving me permission to display them.
And finally the new pot

In the year 2008 Nobouchi Urushibata bought 100 shimpakus for the Taisho en´s students.
Salva Sorribes (Spain), Ariel(Chile), Jeison(Guernsey) , and myself, work the wood of theese trunks.
Some of theese trees are now outside of Japan:
https://ibonsaiclub.forumotion.com/t2470-shohin-juniper
Another ones at the kokufu market
I bought one of this trunk.
When you have the green far for the trunk, you can graft brunches or let grow and cut until you get new buds near to the trunk.
That's what I did with mine.
After clean.
The first wiring.
After growing
More growing
And actually

Thank you for all of your work in posting the excellent report Jose. I appreciate all of the effort that goes into photography, video and especially editing.
I think the Maple deserves keeping its own post though. A new topic would be better for the Juniper

Hi Jose
Very nice work.
Congratulations. I really like the composition.Perhaps slightly to the right, or put a small tree?
It's a shell made Erik Križovenský?
