Re: BURRS 2010
As usual Chris, you take the trophy for being the first to post pics from the weekend! And what a cracker it was, eh?
Many thanks to you and the Welsh Wizards for your time, generosity, help, advice, humour, patience, friendship and, most importantly, tool hire!
Just a friendly warning though, I was serious about coming down to visit.

Is it just me or does Andy look like he's saying "What's that, boyo, you dare me to whip this tablecloth out without moving the tree?"

Re: BURRS 2010
What a fantastic weekend it was..It was really nice meeting Steve, Chris Thomas, Jerry, Bob and everyone after a long time.
a BIG thank you to Pavel for transforming my Taxus. Working with Pavel was a dream come true.
It was a pleasure meeting with Peter Landerloos and and Morea for the first time.
I'm already looking forward to next BURRS.
Thanks, Tony and everyone else for making it a great weekend.
Regards,
Faisal

something important missing......
What a great weekend.
But we are missing something very important, none of this would work without the huge effort from one fine man.
Bob Brunt we salute you.
In fact Tony and his whole team are giving those attending a clear view of what british bonsai could and in my view should look like.
Thank you all.

Re: BURRS 2010
Burrs has intensely consumed the last seven days so today I am playing catch up with the rest of my life... reading emails... returning equipment/tables etc. I will post here later and a few photos too!
Mario, Terry and Pavel inspired, advised and worked solidly for two days... the outcome of the weekend for me was "bonsai is nothing without good horticulture technique and application, styling is only one small part of the journey, not the journey in itself"
I believe there may be a photo of me somewhere working too!
And it is true Bob Brunts Bacon Breakfast Bar was a sensation <<< (represents Bacon) Thanks Bob, Steve, Matt, Peter and all the helpers too. Carolyn and I could not have done it without you.

Re: BURRS 2010
I am in posession of a bona fide, un-photoshopped picture of Tony actually working on his own tree at Burrs! No, honestly. I kid you not. I even had it checked by an expert, just to make sure it wasn't a smudge on the lens or a freak digital double exposure. I just need to work out how to get it out of the camera onto the pc.
As for Andrew's 'fine Larch raft', I beg to differ. It's a damn fine Larch raft. And I hate him.
(Only kidding Andrew, old buddy, mate, pal Don't forget to let me know if you find something suitable!!)

Re: BURRS 2010
Hi Guys,
Looks like you had a whale of a time. Morea & Peter, I'm sorry I missed you after the fun we had at Noelanders earlier this year.
Loving the trees on show and good to hear that you got Tony working!!!
Still a bit hacked off that I missed it but maybe next year (if you'll have me )
Love, Peace & Bananas,
Simon
