ugly fukien tea got recycled

i was becoming frustrated with this tree, after a long time in the pot, it didnt develop any taper. i tried to make some adjustment to the trunk to give it some kind of sway/movement to the left then it turns uglier, what i got is a perfect angle.. i guess this problem is inherent to this species. then i tried to lower its base, but the nebari is not good as well! i thought a "firewood style bonsai" would be the best option. it was ready for re potting. then i did some sketches. its looking good in the drawing, i guess...




after some pruning and branch bending and few wrestling...


then more pruning and some branch foreshortening...shes not that ugly anymore...i guess. all i need now is a longer pot.
