Wire mark removal from Ficus benjamina, and other trees with similar bark...
The Link in the tittle post of the thread (LINK TO MY WOUND TREATMENT ARTICLE) captures your computer and the only escape is to immediately power off. Hopefully, you have anti-virus software which will take over when you power back on.
The process outlined in the photo may be applied to any woody critter with bark similar to Figs. That is, bark which has a mottled surface without a distinct vertical pattern. The bark that will replace the wire marks needs to blend in with the undisturbed bark, so probably won't look the same on corky bark or bark made up of thick plates that crack into vertical ridges or cords like Elm or Oak and others. That kind of bark only rarely shows wire marks, anyway.
