RIP Jim Smith
As I didn't see this elsewhere on the IBC site, let me be the bearer of news that has been on Facebook: James J. Smith, premier tropical bonsai teacher and artist in Florida, passed away in his sleep the night of June 29. He was 90. Please see his biographical entry for Sep 9 in our Bonsai book of Days project, http://www.magiminiland.org/Days/DaysSep.html.
Thank-you very much Jim for your efforts and guidance.

Re: RIP Jim Smith
There is a fine picture tour of Jim's work that he's left behind under good care for the public to see in the adamaskwhy blog, to add to what you've already put here. Thanks for bringing this to the IBC.

The three part photo-essay about the James J. Smith Bonsai Gallery is now linked into the bio. Thanks for pointing it out.
