Live and learn...
I have been living with Japanese Beetles and manually pulling them off my bonsai, and then dropping them into a bucket to drown. The beetles love the Pyracantha and some of my various elms. They even infested my larch trees.
So, after two weeks of pulling them off, and applying Milky Spore on the ground and bonsai the area, I knew there musts be an easier way. Friends have told me about using SEVIN, liquid form, and said that it is probably the least toxic insecticide "this side of pyretherins...". So I tried it and guess what ... NO MORE BEETLES! WooHoo!!!
It was easy to apply with a sprayer, and takes care of lots of other pests. I don't know why I didn't try it before:scratch:
