Which Juniperus is best for beginner?
Hi all. My name is Vlada and I come from Serbia.
I have a question for you.
Tommorow I'll go in nursery garden and I whant to buy Juniperus for my first bonsai. So which species is best for beginner?

Plus, it's hard to give you a definite answer on what Juniper species will work best for you to try as Bonsai. Variations in geographic location and climate make keeping the same species different. But, it will definitely help if you provide the latin names for the species you are interested in, such as Juniperus Chinensis or Juniperus sabina. Those scientific terms mean the same for everyone.
But overall, if the juniper species you are interested in seem to grow well in pots in the area you live in? Then they should work at least reasonably well as trees, for development into bonsai.
