Little larch group.
I started these from seedlings and have been in this pot for a couple of years now. They will be going onto a slab or new pot next year , i haven't made my mind up yet. I just wired them up .

I like it Smithy! But perhaps place one behind the No.1 tree for more depth of field?

That's a very sweet group of larches and styling was done very good. As you said a slab or a shallow pot would fit them nicely.
I have a soft spot for larches...and a group of larches - that much more.

Wow, in single two years has already its character. Now it must mature and only age. Beautiful also the stone slab.

Beautiful wiring job Smithy; classic technique! I just bought some larch seedlings this Fall and will start to work on them this Spring. I am looking forward to working with them. Your grove has given me inspiration.

Cute!
Actually I dont like much the thin-trees composition, but yours seem really attractive. I like it.
Congrats Smithy

Thanks for the comments ,it is possible to make something pleasant to look at from immature material. You don't have to have amazing yamadori to make something interesting. I would still love to have some amazing yamadori but i get just as much enjoyment from what i use.
