You must feel tired!!!
What with all the work you did on your Yew and not having much sleep ????
Good to see everyone again

No sleep my arse!!! While me and Mikey stayed up all night working trees, Jerry was snoring extremely loudly indeed. My Makita made less noise

Perfect weekend at Burrs
Well,
That evening after consulting me, well he said was I happy, I was, very happy…. Enrico did the initial styling with my full support.
I watched as he created magic with wire, foliage and inspired and great skill.
Here is Chris's picture taken on Saturday night.
Enrico continued to refine the yew's image Sunday morning, not even stopping for lunch.
To me this clearly showed the dedication and true passion Enrico brings to all his work.
How many bonsai masters arrive early, work continuously and you have to ask to stop at the end so you and sweep up.
Well this is the case with Enrico. A true master.

Re: BURRS 2012
So,
What a great weekend. Got to get a tattoo.
Great food, great company and a bonsai genius or six to share it with.
My best bonsai experiance by far.
Thank you all for letting me share it with you.
The final image, just before we left for home and Enrico finally stepped out into the cold Burrs air.
Can't wait for Burrs 2013, it's got a lot to live up to………..

The Joy of Burrs
A few picture I took of the event.
Happy faces all.
All smiling faces, but Pavel who smiles all the time, until he puts on his bonsai face, a very serious and focused face that gets great results.
Then once he sees the way, back across his face appear his bright smile until the next tree.. I love your smile pavel, but feel happy when your bonsai face takes over for those wonderful moments.

Looks like a great event. Thanks for all the photos and stories! The before and after shots of some of the trees are particularly interesting and informative.

All I can say is WOW!
Burrs living up to its usual great great reputation. Thanks to all who have posted photos, I know there was one emotional Monkey who came back down south and is still flying high on the events buzz and vibes. Good to see so many faces of friends that I have not seen in a while and good to see so many people in the zone and happy. As it has been said, by Simon, Burrs is so much more than just Bonsai. I think you just have to have been to one to know.
Sorry I could not be there and hope to see most of you at Noelanders in January. I am sure there will be plenty of Burrs styled trees in future Noelanders shows.
Regards and best wishes to all I missed you
Andy

Re: BURRS 2012
Sunday morning I thought it was the effect of the night before... I now know its because I had a tree growing out of my head
When I get back to some normality I will post some photos and more comments...and thanks to some of those that made THIS Burrs rather special.

There is no original thread. The tree was purchased from me as raw material
