Little Shohin Elm

This tree is about 4 inches tall, I will put in a bonsai pot soon and post so you can see it potted.

That's probably because the top (foliage) is still new and sparse. When it grows out and has a less-pointy top, it likely will look better.

Maybe. Lowest branches bug me too. They're basically the same length, thickness, position on the tree and wired into the same shape.
