As always great job Pavel.
Can you tell me what camera you use to photo of your bonsai?

Stunning tree!!
It's unfortunate the branch 3/4 up the top crosses the trunk line it's visually distracting. However removed, i fear it would possibly ruin the whole composition, any thoughts on this??
Regards
Bryan

I feel the crossing branch, while may have been necessary at one time, is no longer, and detracts from the dynamism of the lower major branch it mirrors. It is a beauty of a Larch.

Hi Pavel....
I think Crust and i had a similar though.... Would it not be possible to build up the back branch and create a similar image to my virtual???
THANKS

Thank you Bryan for your nice virtual.
Yes, it is possible. But maybe next time.

Re: Larix - restyyling - before and after 2012
hi,
i feel the tree could be much better moving the other way now the lower branch is gone.
The main branch comes from inside a curve and looks wrong, while the branch on the right is very well placed and just needs to grow longer. further up the tree the apex actually moves to the right as well, but it too is made unstable because all the branches are styled the opposite way.
For me the tree has two strong elements going to the right and would be much better if the branches complement them - and even more so that the ugly branch bent across the trunk could be put back on its proper side as it only makes a fake image for the camera. I think if you look at the tree as material rather than bonsai these are quite obvious things you would do in a first styling. With the trunk leaned to the right as well the tree will be very nice.
cheers Marcus

i like the tree with the left lowest branch
this branch give all the power to the tree...for me
if really you don t want to get some opposite branches ..i think itis better to leave the right lowest one..even if it is more in the "rules"
great work pavel

Personally I like the tree a lot. It may have some issues that seem to violate "The Rules" but I don't know how many times we have had heated debates over the validity of "The Rules". After some of the virtuals that have been made, as good as they are, it is pretty obvious that removing, changing and relocating branches to make this tree conform to "The Rules" leaves us with a sort of uninteresting tree; correct by the numbers but lacking it's beautiful uniqueness. It is for this reason that Yamadori are not always considered, judged, and critiqued by "The Rules". The character this tree has is in the fact that nature provided the character in the first place. Remove any of this and the tree is no longer the beautiful Yamadori it was/is. Just my humble and probably meaningless opinion.
