Well Dave, trees, and therefore bonsai take many forms, shapes, and sizes. I accept your view that it isn't "a tree or bonsai-------". However, others see it differently. This is good. Your view and other views are important. Every art form has those that love it, those that hate it and those that couldn't care less one way or another. So let it be with bonsai.
Question: What about my avatar? There are some who don't see it as bonsai, and many others that do.
I hope we hear many more opinions. Good learning process.

Mike,
I think the photo need to be clearer...maybe more light and another background? The soil is red and the pic looks overly processed. A shot from different side would also help. If I am seeing this right, you have mostly dead wood?
