witch hazel

Does anyone have a bonsai with this shrub,,,tree ????? i would like to see a picture...thanks take care john

I have a shohin relative -- winter hazel, Corylopsis pauciflora. Hasn't shown me much yet, but it is kinda nice when it blooms in December and January.

Thank you JIM ,, That looks like a pretty nice tree...this is hamamelis x intermedia,,wavy yellow petals on bare branches...just wondering if it might be a project ??? thanks take care john

The German caption won't tell you much, except this one is a "yamadori" probably from somebody's garden. It blooms between December & February in Germany.

Was just browsing through some back issues of International Bonsai, and came across a photo of a nice Japanese Witch Hazel. If you have access to issue 2007/No 1, it's on page 16 and 17 (fall and winter views).
