Pomegranate winter silhouette

The is a winter silhouette show at the Los Angeles Arboretum this weekend from 10-4 on Sat. and Sun. I'm putting my old pomegranate in.

That's an old looking tree. Did you try the accent on the other side of the tree?

Well the calender says it's winter. It is an old tree. I haven't tried the accent on the other side but I will see how it looks. Thanks for the suggestion.

With the tree being potted on the left hand side the accent works on the right, but I was wondering about the apex going to the left the accent might work on the left too. Since the accent doesn't seem to have strong movement, it might work either way. Regardless, it will be a evocative display. Have fun. Hope we get too see other photos from the event.

I'll take a bunch of pictures and post them Sunday. It's always a great show.

I love this tree, and I like Rob's suggestion too. Any chance of getting it into a smaller pot? Great pot, but it seems a little overpowering. Just a thought.

I was hoping to put it in smaller pot before this show but I'm having a little problem finding a good one I can afford. Soon I hope. Its not as apparent when leafed out.
The accent looks equally as good on the other side as well but where my space is at the exhibit it needs to be on the right.
I'll post some pictures after the weekend of the show.

God, I know what you mean! Don't get me wrong, I love that pot. But as a leafless tree I'm seeing A LOT of pot. I know you know what I mean, and I'm sure it's less noticable when the leaves are there.
