Thanks for posting. There are some very fine trees in Southern California. It would be great to see a few make it to the US National Exhibition.

It would be nice to see some in the National Exhibit but transportation is a b**** and there's always a risk they won't let it back in the state.

Yes thank you for taking the time to post these for us, You guys sure grow some righteous Pomegranates down there. I particularly like the cascade Pom hanging on to his one fruit!

Re: Winter silhouette show
Sounds strange, but this is my favorite time of year for bonsai, one can really enjoy seeing the work that gets done during the growing season. The Chinese elm is an old tree.
Wish I could find an apricot that size!!
Thanks for sharing Bob.

@ Bob, I was at the show earlier and took a ton of photos, would you mind if I share them here with all? I don't want to appear like I'm hijacking your post....

Not strange at all I agree. I think someone is missing the apricot from their back yard.

Re: Winter silhouette show
thanks Bob....you know what i like about this show, I didn't have the impression that the trees were pressed together like in other shows I've seen. The trees had their own space. I liked the feeling it gave....
