Logwood/Campeche trunk chop recommendation needed.
Can someone help me decide where to trunk chop this logwood? Currently, it looks longer than I like and the taper is not defined. I will probably do the chop next year (2013) but want to help channel growth this spring to the branches I want to remain, especially to the new apex. The trunk shape is also very irregular as shown. I marked 4 possible chop options but open to other suggestions.
Any and all input is welcome especially design ideas. Thank you.

I might chop at D, but not chop just create a large shari at the top. It would require some carving.

Thanks Billy. My personal preference is C then D. I do plan on creating a jin but not too much, just enough to create the taper illusion.

Here is a picture of option C with bag. Top right branch will be trained as apex. What do you think?

The title of this article is "For Beginners: Trunk Chopping 101 For Deciduous Trees"
I am not sure it makes any difference but Campeche is a tropical tree.

Thanks. Nice articles but as Billy pointed out, I am planning on doing Jin and not a direct chop.
