Sorry folks the Servimg picture hosting is broken again. It was working for a while but the tech guys are now trying to fix it again. In the meanwhile you can easily post images here from any of the free hosting sites like Photobucket, Tinypic etc.

How do you manage to keep your Hosta Pandoras Box going. I've lost it twice now. The second time I grew it for four years until it was large enough to split. Divided it very carefully into five plants, last spring, and all of them died last winter. I've read online that it is a difficult one but can find no guidance on what it actually needs.

Hi Wolfgang, nice accents. I really like the Hosta "Tortifrons" I have never seen a miniature with such narrow leaves and I find myself searching now for this hosta.

Pandoras Box is not easy to grow, also Cameo.
Use a mixture of akadama & peat and do not water every day. You can use also a mix of pumice & akadama (or kanuma).

Hi Wolfie, on your recommendation I purchased 6 Habenaria tubers (is that correct) from ebay ...they are growing well but yet to start flowering I will post here when they do.
