Shimpaku repot
Would it be too late in the season to repot a shimpaku that I think I may have over potted last fall? I am afraid that there may be too much wetness for the root ball over the winter and the plant may suffer from root rot. zone 6 btw boston area.

Re: Shimpaku repot
if you are worried about waterlogging just make a cover for the pot from a strong sheet of plastic - with the tree poking through ! this will divert the rainwater away. Do it after a few dry days so the soil is not soaking wet before you start
