New FREE Photo editing program . . .
. . . to me, at least. I stumbled on reference to it while waiting in a doctor's office.
Take a look at Photo Pos Pro -- http://www.photopos.com/index.asp?RefName=PhotoPos_Pro&SoftVer=1.8.7 -- which seems to do everything the Big Boys do. It has excellent manuals and tutorials in its HELP section, which most free programs do NOT have.

Re: New FREE Photo editing program . . .
I've had a good play with the "Photo Pos Pro" software and it is up with the best of the free ones that I've ever used. A big bonus is that the interface and workflow is very similar to Photoshop, so if you want to upgrade to the best paid version later, many of the skills are transferable. There are a few annoying omissions, like a lack of keyboard shortcuts for some options, some gaps in help files etc. For the price though, I can heartily recommend it!
