Juniperus sabina - yamadori 2009

Hi all
I want to introduce my next tree Sabina. Yamadori were collected in spring 2009. Now I'll just clean the tree and hlledat other options. I think there will be many views.

do you know when it was that these junipers were discovered for use as bonsai material ? seems to me fairly recently. in any event, based on pictures one sees, europe has its own source of high quality juniper material rivaling the best found anywhere else. is this a true statement? in your hands the true beauty of this tree will be revealed.

Sam, I really do not know how long it is used as Sabina tree for bonsai in Europe. But I think the future is big for Junipers Sabina. They are wonderful trees with great potential.
