Juniperus sabina - yamadori Dynamic 2009
Hi all
Juniper was collected in 2009. I think very interesting Yamadori. Today I performed the cleaning and preparation of the first shaping. The first styling will work in 2012.

Another nice tree Pavel. The jins are moving at different direction, I'll watch and try to learn from your design solution.

great material - and a very nice start with the cleaning
why do i see a domed top and a layered branch dropping to the right though ! i'd love to see other options - cram, do a drawing of something unique if you have time and spot this one,
best wishes with a smile Marcus

That is some nice starting material. Wow! Those 2 jins do seem to be "competing" (for lack of a better word) with each other a bit, at least that's my first reaction. Can't wait to see where you take it.

Hi Jun, Marcus and Chris
Thank you for yours comments and suggestions.
So far I have not thought of as a composition. Only cleaned and treated the dead wood. Jin right under the crown of the tree I've ever had and bent to not cross movement in the crown. If he stays and how long, I do not know it. The spring work is still a lot of time.
Welcome yours ideas and compositions.

Re: Juniperus sabina - yamadori Dynamic 2009
wow marcus...it s kind to think about me for a sketch
generaly i prefer read pavel s posts...and learn
this tree is wonderfull
i agree the opposite jins could be disturbing...but i think it could be a strong point also
so i build the tree in this way
making a similar mouvement with the head for the left jin
and with the main branch with the right jin by breaking it and follow the trunk
to make a kind of dancing juniper

i also really enjoy pavels finished results, the attention to detail and neatness of the work is always excelent,
but i also really like your sketches cram as they show very nice possibilities from the material you draw,.
i look forward to the spring when pavel begins work
regards Marcus

Brilliant update to this Yamadori Pavel
I held my breath just before scrolling down the screen..... A lot smaller than I'd imagined. Great use of that long front branch, twisting and bending it downward!
Thanks
Bryan

Dear Pavel,
Your work and color contrasts on it seem wonderful.
What do you use to give that dark brown color on trunk?
Thanks
