watering my Bonsai
Hi. I am new here, and new to Bonsai. I have 2 Bonsai at the moment. A small Boxwood, and a Korean Hornbeam. My question is water. Can I use distilled water instead of the hard water we get here in San Antonio?I've noticed what appears to be calcium deposits on the leaves when they are dry. Any help would be appreciated. Great to be here. Thanks, Joe

Re: watering my Bonsai
You can use any water that you can drink, and it won't hurt the trees. The mineral deposits are unsightly but you can water only the soil, and the leaves will be fine. Hopefully you are fertilizing them every week or two now?
