Hillier Elm Development
Picked this up at a garden centre in Surrey before a round of golf at Wentworth about 11 years ago.( halved the match giving a member 3 shots btw)
After taking a few cuttings I planted out on my allotment for a few years and potted up this year.
Quite like the nebari but the hollow looks a bit naff now. Unfortunately the rear of the tree is very badly scarred, although the nebari is probably even better so I'm probably stuck with this view for a while.
Any comments or carving tips appreciated.

Hi Tim. By chance do you have a picture of it this year but without the leaf cover?
