38TH UPSTATE NEW YORK BONSAI EXHIBITION
Everyone is invited to visit the 38th Upstate New York Bonsai Exhibition this weekend on May 21-22, 2011. It will be held at the Monroe Community Hospital in Rochester, New York. Hours are 10am to 5pm daily.
In addition to over 100 bonsai we will also have two demonstrations by Harvey Carapella and Marc Arpag. Award winning bonsai will be displayed as well as bonsai which are still in training. We usually have a large shohin bonsai section. There will be several vendors offering bonsai, pre-bonsai, containers, tools and other items.
The Rochester chapter of Ikebana International will also have several tables of beautiful ikebana flower arrangements. More information about our society and the exhibition can be found at: www.bonsaisocietyofupstateny.org
After visiting the exhibition you might want to visit The International Bonsai Arboretum for the annual Spring Open House & Sale. Directions can be found at: www.internationalbonsai.com The garden is a short 15 minute drive from the exhibition.
We hope to welcome visitors from around the country, rain or shine.
