Nice trees I really like the new pot choices. The pots you have chosen make the green stand out in foliage.

Thank you all for the reactions,I love this species.
You can have good results with this species in a couple off years
And when you spray every two weeks the leafs with fertilizer you have a faster result in a shorter time.
And yes Nik,the tree's look better in real life

Update,I put the little chamaecyparis in a new pot from Jurgen Hilken.
I achieve this pot at Deshima bonsai from Teunis Jan Klein, from a very cheap price 13 euro for this nice made shohin-pot
And i take also new material at TJ place, one old Hawthorn and a Blackthorn and more great material that I will post soon on this forum
I hope you like the new bonsai and pot-combination.

I love these trees.
What kind of chamaecyparis are they? What kind of fertilizer do you use for the leaves to get such brilliant color.

Hi Ed.
Very nice trees.
I really like the larger tree. Dish it properly. For the smaller bowls that bothers me a little of the upper bright band of glaze.

Thanks all for the comments
The species-name is Chamaecyparis obtusa and I treat this tree's like my other evergreen bonsai.
The fertilizer I give is fish emulsion and Pokon bonsai fertilizer.
And Pavel,I like the upper bright band of glaze because it force the viewer to look first to the nebari off this tree and later the rest of the tree

Beautiful!! I also like the larger one...looks just like a big tree. Can't the smaller one be planted higher?

Re: Two Chamaecyparis styled
I like the tree, I like the new pot, but I don't think they go well together. The reason is that the tree over powers the smaller pot. The foliage canopy is too wide for that pot IMHO. I think the clay or glaze color is a better match for the tree.
Best,
Todd

Hello Ed. I like this combination but feel it is a little off balance. If the tree were planted slightly to the right of centre maybe?

Re: Two Chamaecyparis styled
Hi Todd and Will, thank you for your comments.
I am going to pot this tree in a bigger pot, gladly I have not take any roots away the last repotsession so this will do no harm to the tree.
After your comments I look better to the tree with the new pot,and it looks a bit off balance that Will has noticed also to me.
I will post the tree with larger pot as soon as possible.
Greetings Ed
