Small Spruce

Here is a small Black Hills Spruce (Picea glauca v. densata) that I worked on recently:

This is just a first styling... I was originally thinking about letting it be as a windswept, but it is very hard to pull off a convincing windswept. Other than that, I love Spruce as a semi-cascade. Next year it will go into a larger pot for the base to grow a little. It is a fairly young established yamadori (15yrs old) with healthy foliage.
