I'm loving your series of progression threads Jupp. As an amateur it's a great way to learn and see realistic time frames. IBC is renowned for this, but seeing a new member post so much at once is great. Really get to see your own personal style and techniques.

I agree, nice progression and tree. What amazed me was how slow the growth rate is looking at the development of this tree over 8 yrs. Puts things in perspective. Thanks jupp!

To be honest personally I prefer 2012 shape. It has lighter foliage. Otherwise beautiful tree. Thanks for sharing.

Nine years, ehhh?.... I have one of my own bought last year, nursery stock just like yours, similar dimensions and I'm working on it the way you did.
Are there any special advice/tips you would like to share for assistance? Thank you in advance anyway.

The tree must be processed with a wire. I could not do this year because of operations on my hands
The tree is regularly fertilized, watered and always plucking old needles. Location full sun.

Hi jupp, your tree looks absolutely wonderful and you look so happy with it, like a proud father. I'm glad to see you were able to wire the tree, it looks very nice after having that lush growth from the last picture wired into place. It's obviously a very happy and healthy tree with a powerful presence. Congratulations.
