weak strong
If the tree in early spring is placed like this, all of the tree becomes strong, and the weak lower part will take ower.
One hour before the new growth begin to grow the wrong direction, the tree is placed, as the cascade it is.
When the new growth has hardened, the tree can be laid down again...maybe 10 days dawn, and ten tays up
Kind regards Yvonne

Re: Spring Has Sprung
The difference in how trees respond to spring. Here are two Florida Elms (Ulmus americanna floridanna) photographed today.
The first is "Styled by Wilma," (as in hurricane Wilma) shown earlier.
BTW the blue dots on the soil are Miracle Grow granular fertilizer, my favorite fertilizer.
This is another Florida Elm, this one a broom style. It just started budding out and I was almost too late to get a photo of it naked. Both trees were collected from the same general area about a mile apart. Pot is Japanese Tokonome. Most of my other Florida Elms have budded out.
