Spring is here!!!
For two days anyway........
Prunus incisa 'Kojo-no-mai'/Fuji Cherry. I'm really pleased with how it's looking this Spring
Developed from a nursery plant since 1997.
Height 3.5"/9cm tall with a 4cm/1.5" wide trunkbase (above the roots).
Pot by Walsall Ceramics
Ulmus pumila/Siberian Elm coming into leaf
Height 21"/52cm
Purchased as field-grown stock in 2005
Pot from Erin Bonsai
Crataegus monogyna/Common Hawthorn, restyled, repotted and recarved during the Winter
Height 30"/77cm
Tree collected 2001

Its grim just north of Watford
I think HH is London suburbs way these days so even a few miles may make a difference.
Two of my hawthorns (inc below) are more or less in full leaf (both collected down south) and two are just starting to leaf out (both ex Wigan/ex Harry) so they do seem to vary - maybe based on where they where collected from.
Wasn't this on another thread? i.e. Welsh/Scottish collected trees being behind
