Collected Hawthorn
Hi,
This is another rescue from my rugby club car park.
You can see the beginnings of a saw cut right at the base and I need to disguise this.
Needs more work at the chop site to improve look and taper but I am quite pleased with my efforts so far in achieving a degree of ramification and the overall look.
I got the pot at the Wessex show last year. It has "Devon" and some initials in a square as a mark inside the base but can't remember who it was.
More "bonsai" than "bonsai hawthorn" do you think?
I also have a "bonsai hawthorn" in early stage development.
Thks

Collected Hawthorn
Well done Tim. Both trees progressing well. Perhaps the first one should go in a box to gain maximum growth for a couple of seasons.
