the diffracted is my next project
Hi People, these Larix decidua (the diffracted) is my next project. Maybe have someone fun and would make a design proposal.

Hi Karl.
i'm not sure about the base and root of the tree...but I think this tree would look lovely as a semi cascade in a crescent pot.

Dorothy, what to say, awesome your designs you could all so, many thanks for it.
I have decided for a design that looks like your first design, without the lower branch.
Of course this is a first design and not perfectly, over the years, it is always better.

^ I like this one the best, especially if it had a lower apex and deeper cascade. The wonderful curve at the base sets the tone for the rest of the tree; if any other part of the trunk further up had straight or even gently curved areas it would look put of place. I think its referred to as 'the golden section' in artistic circles..
