Hi, this is a cement pot I have been working on. Any advice or comments welcome.

Nice job! I like the detail you made on the container. Did you use some kind of sander?

And are those permanent anchors on the base? That's a great way to secure wire and the tree with, good idea. I bet this thing is really heavy.

The texture is built by hand before it sets hard. Nearly finished;

Are you building this in layers? What are you using for reinforcement? Fiberglass mesh? aluminum window screen? wire mesh?

What product or type of cement are you using?

Hi, it's built with steel mesh and covered with tile adhesive.
