Chinese Elm Fall color

Just a proud Bonsai owner wanting to show off his "baby" I've had to downsize my collection a lot over the last year and this tree is one I couldn't part with. This tree has been through a lot (including being shipped through the US mail twice, living on a New York fire escape, and living in the South florida heat and humidity) It hasn't grown much this year but it's hanging in there. I hope to keep it more stable next year.

I just thought it looked beautiful right now with it's fall color and wanted to share. It's a Chinese Elm. The first picture is from August 2008.

You have a very nice tree there!! I like the growth it has made since the chop..how do you get fall color like that in florida??? good looking tree..take care john

Thank you all for the nice comments. Sorry, I forgot to mention that I now live in Southern California but plan on moving to Nashville by the end of the month. Hopefully that will be it for a long time and my tree can start forgiving me for all the change.

Great tree, awesome story. Hope to see many more pics of this tree. IMHO i love the pot colour but would love to see it round or oval and shallow.

I agree 100% about the pot. I actually had it in an oval pot once but it broke and I just decided to keep it in something cheap till I settle down somewhere and don't have to move it around so much.
