Wow! From the first post to this, great progression! Thanks for sharing the story along its ways; personally find that just as, if not more interesting than the "finished" moment of display.

What a wonderful, dramatic change in the course of 5 years. Beautiful and well done.
I really like the pot, but I agree with you, it is not the "best fit" for this tree. I would look for a pot with less height. But like shoes, sometimes you have to try several before you find the one that is just right.
