Re: Juniper - Update
Dear IBC Members.
The juniper got a new pot and here are some photos after the repotting.
The details of the tree are not done and I will leave the tree for a while as it is. After the repotting stress will be over I will develop the left side of the foliage to make the crown les linear and adjust the first left branch to the new design.

All comments are very welcome.
Cheers, roland

Re: Juniper - Update
Hi Roland,
your Juniper is looking realy good in this well chosen new pot! This new pot gives enough counterweight to hold the leaning mass of the tree firmly on the ground. So the visual weight of this new pot and that strong left hanging branch that is pushing the tree upward from the open space underneed it, make that your tree looks in balance, but it is living dangerously close to falling in to the dept beneath it! And that makes this over all design very dynamic and exciting to look at! Well don my friend!
Happy Easter to you and your family!
Cheers,
Hans van Meer.

Re: Juniper - Update
Hi rolandp
Really good development, congrats!
Dont you think that pot is still big? I am not an expert on it, but (imho) it looks big compared to tree for me.
What you think?

Thanks Taner.
Im sorry for my late reply. But better late than never, right?
Im not shore about the pot size. At this photo it looks definitely a litle bit to big and to heavy , on one other photo whit a black background the pot doesn't look so heavy any more. So im really not shore. On one hand the tree is leaning to the left, the foliage is not developed and will look heavier in some time, so its good to have an optical balance, but not to much . But, most probably i will have to find a similar pot just a bit smaller.
Greetings, roland

Re: Juniper - Update
Thanks Justin. I absolutely agree with the position in the pot. With the first transplanting it was not possible to get it in this position, but with the next transplanting the position in the pot will be changed, most probably the pot will bi changed as well.
Thank you Tom, im glad you like it

Re: Juniper - Update
Dear IBC Members.
The Juni made some additional miles towards the final image.
The first left branch needs a bit additional time to develop, but we are slowly getting there, I guess .

Thank you all for the nice replays.
Hans, my friend. I'm very happy that you like the tree :)Hope to see you soon my friend.
abcd, thank you for the virtual. I agree the deadwood has to be changed, my plan is to bend this dead part of the trunk to gain more empty space and dynamic of the deadwood which will fit better with the rhythm of the trunk.
Cheers, roland

Wonderful development. The main branch in particular has been styled in a perfect balance with the rest of the tree now that the crown (of the branch) has been filled and rounded. Very impressed Roland. Will you look for a round pot perhaps with a smaller base? Although I think this pot is good too. Sometimes just changing the pot from time to time can renew your interest in a tree.
