Styling my little juniper
Hello everyone,
This is a little juniper I styled recently. It had double trunk but it was too far from the main so I decided to let it go.
Nevermind the pot, I know it's not a good one for this tree.
Since I'm a beginner and this is the first tree I ever styled, please be kind to correct anything that might have been done wrong.
Regards,
Pedro

I like that. I wouldn't do any more major work now, just try to develop some clearly defined foliage pads through selective pinching.

I'm glad you liked it Tom.
I'm going to let it recover the rest of the year, and next growing season I'll work the foliage.

I think you must let this tree rest for now, until all of juvenile foliages turn to scale like foliages again.

Re: Styling my little juniper
It seems to me like it needs to be thinned out some. Needs to have a little more trunk showing in my opinion also. It also looks cluttered up top. A lot of branches seem to be coming from one cluster.
Still,a nice little tree with a lot going for it.

Hi M.Frary,
Thx for your reply, I agree with you, it needs to be thinned up and that trunk should be more on sight.
I'll try to improve that.
