Itoigawa Juniper Styling
Hi Friends,
Just back from spending the weekend at Tony's with steve (Harley Rider) in special appearance. Had a great time and we did some serious styling. Here are some before and after pictures of the Itoigawa juniper that we styled. The tree had some really thick and straight branches. we never thought we'd end up with such a great lil tree.
Hope you enjoy the pictures. I'd love to have your comments and any suggestions for the future development.
I'd specially request all my potter friends if they could please suggest a suitable pot.
Regards,
Faisal

Faisal and Steve frightened away my family of Blackbirds
Wow Faisal you got these up fast, we had a great couple of days having fun.
The Juniper had a real problem with the fact that there were NO thin branches, so it was the case of selecting the branch that would be the top of the tree, removing the LONG LONG thick branches, create the deadwood and start structuring the tree. Faisal needs to let the tree grow freely and create lots of new young growth that can be positioned, the current 'triangle of foliage' on the top of the tree is NOT very attractive.
Faisal and Steve frightened away my family of Blackbirds who visit me daily at 12.00 to have a bath!

I'm really looking forward to seeing this tree develop over the next 2-3 years, Faisal. In the meantime, feed, water, feed, water.

Hi Bob,
Glad you like the tree. It was a great weekend at Tony's. You guys are lucky to be so close to each other. 5-6 of you do great stuff together.
Pity we couldn't meet but I'm sure we get to meet sometime soon.
Keep well, my friend.
Regards,
Faisal
