Exquisite. I thought hackberries were temperate trees. How do you manage to grow it in the tropics?

I had one imported from China, it came infested with beetles.

Celtic sinensis grows well in tropical and subtropical climates. It is a popular bonsai subject in Indonesia, Taiwan and in my yard!

it's perfectly OK.
nothing changed...it's still a nice tree and both can be grown in the tropics.
