A pot for my juniperus
Hi guys! It's my first message, please excuse my english, I'm a french-speaking person!
Thanks for welcoming me. I'm looking for the best suitable pot for this shohin tree.
I will repot it next year...
I was thinking of a more smaller round and unglazed pot... and I hope that the ten-jin will look better in a much smaller pot!

I think the pot has a lot to do with the roots. If you just got this as nursery stock, chopping too much of the roots will kill the rest of your tree. The reduction should be somewhat gradual for those obtained from nursery. It also looks like that bent you made might be a little too drastic, it could kill it.

Thanks Joe, you're right, I've been too drastic and now I cross my fingers! How do you know it?
About the root system I will trim it in several years!
Carolee, thanks a lot for your virtual and point of view! I was thinking this ten-jin is quite the good lenght, but in a particular pot. In my point of view, it had to be a little diameter (quite the same as the trunk diameter a little more) and quite high to make an echo to the jin in a vertical way...
